At the push of a button, the Bedouin transforms itself in seconds from a practical two-seater pick-up to a four-seater with an “offroad” look. The Bedouin – constructed on base of a Porsche Turbo – is powered by natural gas.
This is now the fourth time, ESORO has been commissioned by Rinspeed Design as prime contractor. Thus, ESORO assumed responsibility for the overall project, including project management, the entire engineering and the production of the Bedouin. It took a total of seven months from concept definition to the delivery of the operable vehicle to the customer. The Bedouin has be presented as a world first at the 73rd Geneva Motor Show in March 2003.
